A Scouse African with cynically spiritual leanings

I’m open, friendly and interested in people, the world, and the universe beyond. I was born in South Africa but came to the UK as a kid. Although lived at first in Liverpool and then Lincolnshire I’ve now lived in London since I was 21 and I love the place. (However, I do feel the need to escape to the country or South Africa on a regular basis :)
I think I’m a slightly odd mixture of cynicism and spirituality. I’m very drawn to the possibility of past lives and would love to explore this concept more.
I enjoy socialising, pubs, restaurants, films, reading (I adore good scifi) watching sports (Liverpool IS the team) and generally having a good time. I am a big music fan and love live gigs, my most recent being the Foo Fighters in Hyde Park.
My absolute favourite way to relax is to sit with friends around a table, eating, drinking, talking and being silly and occasionally serious.
I work as a team manager in an emergency contact centre but also have business interests – they’re small but I’m hoping they will grow!
I’m looking for people to be friends and eventually I hope to find someone to share this life with, and perhaps the next one too?
